Kurt Russell enters the "Yellowstone" universe

The "Yellowstone" universe created by Taylor Sheridan continues to grow, attracting a host of film stars. Kurt Russell is another big name set to star alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in the "Yellowstone" spin-off, "The Madison."
The unreleased film "The Madison" is being hailed as another hit for the Paramount+ streaming platform. Deadline reports that the production has already received a tentative order for a second season.
The series, which now stars Kurt Russell, is one of several "Yellowstone" spin-offs currently in development. It will tell the story of a New York family who moves to the Madison River Valley in Montana. The series is billed as a heartfelt story about grief and interpersonal bonds.
In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell , "The Madison" also stars Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Kevin Zegers. The series was created by Taylor Sheridan, and Christina Alexandra Voros will direct six of its ten episodes.
"Yellowstone" made up for lost time without Kevin CostnerThe problems faced by the Dutton universe's main series, "Yellowstone," have long been forgotten after Kevin Costner's departure. The star, who played the lead role of the Dutton family patriarch, John III, decided to focus on his own Western project, "Horizon."
For a while, it seemed like this might completely derail Sheridan's series. However, it managed to survive until the end, and now it will continue with "The Madison," "The Dutton Ranch," about Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, and "Y: Marshals," about Kayce Dutton. Add to that the prequel "1944," which follows "1893" and "1923."
